I’m see patients Monday through Friday both in-person in Berkeley and remotely.
Before you commit to a meeting, let’s talk. I offer a brief, free phone consultation so that we can figure out if I can help. Feel free to email, text, or call me to request an consultation.
I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee.
I am able to take traditional Medicare insurance. I do not accept Medicare Advantage or Medicare + Medi-Cal plans.
If you have other insurance and would like to use your out-of-network benefits, I can provide you a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you’re curious about why it’s so hard to find a therapist in your insurance network, you can learn more about that here.
If you’re in need of therapy but my fee is out of reach, I may be able to pay a portion of your fee for you. I reserve this for people in financial difficulty: people who don’t have the means to travel or put money into retirement, families with a single earner and no generational support, etc.
If that doesn’t fit your situation but you’re interested in lower free therapy, you may want to contact a training clinic where many wonderful, supervised clinicians-in-training provide sliding-scale therapy. For a list of some local clinics, go here.
